Notes on wine and vinification:
2015 vintage was and extraordinary one; Freisa was vinified in a most traditional way using old wood barrels.
This wine is the expression of what Freisa could be if you give it time to develop and evolve in bottle. With such a limited quantity it a real gem to be able to try the aging potential of Freisa beautifully made.
The grapes after harvest macerate for about 20 days. Affinage takes place in old wood barrels for 24 months and then an additional 2 years in bottle before release. This is a really special wine.
